I discovered these boots in a high priced Camping/outdoor shop. After trying them on I knew I wanted them but was not willing to pay the extreme high price. When I found them on Amazon for less than half the price of the local retailer I just had to buy them. These boots are so comfortable and supportive. I wore them constantly when on holidays in Scotland and I never had sore feet after 12 hours/day every day for 3 weeks. There is room for orthotics if needed and the inner sole is cushioned. They almost propel you when walking which makes movement easy and smooth. The soles have great grip making you feel secure when walking on gravel or loose surfaces.

The shoes themselves are well made and waterproof/repellant keeping feet dry.

I would definately buy this product again.

I got a pair of these for myself and husband for a trip to Alaska. We needed waterproof and comfort. These boots met our needs. We arrived in Ketchikan to rain and pretty much had rain/wet the entire week. Our feet stayed warm and dry the entire trip. The boots were comfortable right out of the box and were much lighter in weight than other non-waterproof boots I had. I didn't test the waterproofing in anything over 1 1/2 inches of steping in water which were puddles and constant rain. I don't know what would happen if you needed to spend your entire day in 1 1/2 inches or more of water. I do highly recommend them. They were also easy to clean off.

And though they look good, I suppose

They're kinda stubby at the toes

Waterproof so far but yet

I haven't got them soaking wet

I like the lacings and the price

But they mark the floor, and that's not nice

Better worn with sturdy socks

These shoes are not your driving mocs

They chafe at back with ankle flexing

Something I find extremely vexing

However, for the purpose made

I have no cause to be dismayed

The grips are good, they keep me dry

For hiking? Probably worth a try.

Great look, but definitely run small. I normally wear a size 9, ordered a 10 (thanks to the other reviews), and it even fits a tad on the snug side, but comfy. Very fashionable, the tassels on the side can be a bit much, but they are removable which is a cool detail.

I absolutely love any Carlos Santana shoes I ever bought and I can proudly say that none of my 10 pairs of them I own, ever disappointed me in comfort, look and price combination. These boots were not exception: very comfortable, unique scroll design on top of the genuine leather (!) gives them a very appealing look which definitely will grab others' attention. The heel height is perfect not to feel too tired and not to be too flat, visually makes your legs look longer! The pair I got were the low booties not the high boots as shown in the picture, if that makes a difference. The bootie/slipper moc is so comfortable, I never take them off. My mom and husband both want a pair after trying mine. They do stretch some, but I like how comfy that makes them. I also appreciate the nice rubber sole instead of leather like some other brands, as the rubbers prevent slipping on the stairs (much safer than leather soles or socks!) and lets me dash outside for the mail with out ruining them. I am trying to rationalize a second pair in a different color, I like them so much!

I got these as a replacement for the last ones I had (same style and brand, different color) and I love them. I wear them all year round and have even fallen asleep in them. They are so cozy! and very functional. It took the last ones 4 years to wear through the bottoms but like I said, I wore them every day. Perfect boots. I will continue to buy these boots when ever I wear them out and as long as they are making them. 7's fit like 7's but I have skinny-ish feet. Takes time to pound down all the fluffiness in these but I think even a thicker foot could wear them just fine.

Had a pair of these about 5 years ago and wore them till the soles wore out. The heel of this boot is a little wider than the previous make, so they slip as you walk. Mother and a friend who wear the same show size but have a thinner and wider foot, respectively, both tried them on and said the same thing. I ordered another pair hoping it was a fluke, but no good. Same heel problem. Beautiful and well made, as far as quality of materials, but just not the right fit.

My gf is very pleased with these boots: they're excellent quality, pleasing to look at and very comfortable to wear because the difference between the platform and heel is only 3½" instead of the usual 4".

The laces are long enough to pass around the top before tying or to tie in a long bow, and there's a convenient side zipper too.

There was a slight problem with our order which the seller addressed very quickly and at their own expense. I thoroughly recommend them.

I love these boots. They look way cuter in person. I'm 5 4' and these make me a giant. You will have to practice a little their that high. I've walked around in them on the carpet and on our wood floors (that's kind of tricky) but I felt like I had sure footing in these. I might ruff up the bottom and paint some rubber cement on them to give them better traction. That's worked for me in the past with high platforms. The ankle opening is roomie but I do have very narrow feet and ankles. That's another thing they are made for people who have very narrow feet. These boots are absolutely perfect. Sometimes shoes look great in the pictures, but not in person. Not so with these boots. They fit true to size and would go with just about anything. They're definitely something you can dress up or down with the right styling. The arch on the boot feels a bit high though, but it's something you can easily solve with inserts or just by getting used to the shoe.

I purchased these in the Tuscany however for some reason ended up with the night rider colour. I was so disappointed until I wore these. Now, I wish I had purchased these in the all the colours. These boots are amazing. The leather is great quality, the design/style is so versatile I have worn it with jeans and even a polished little dress and it still looked good. The heel is a wood stacked heel NOT the imitation wood heels that peel after time. Amazingly, these are super comfy to walk in for a heeled boot. I love these boots. I mean LOVE them. They are cute and seemed to be a good price. However, I'm returning them because the top of the boot is not very roomy, and they're almost impossible to get on. I actually had to put my foot in a plastic bag to get it to slide in there. I know the size was NOT the issue, because once I had the boots on, they fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable. These boots are absolutely ADORABLE! But, as with the above review, I had the same problem getting them on. I naturally have a high instep, so I had the store stretch them for me, but I'm sure you can take them to a shoe repair place. I also bought an item called boot stretch and I spray the outside and inside of the boot where it's the tightest and put the boots on...it's supposed to stretch the boot. I was told by the salesperson that I need to keep wearing the boots in order to break them in...once the boot is on, no problems, fits like a glove! It's getting a little easier since I've been wearing them, so I'll keep working with them!

I bought these because they were on sale for $38.77 and were perfect for what I needed for my Halloween costume. These boots are comfortable and fit my legs and thighs perfectly! I walked and danced in these bad boys all night. My feet only started hurting after about 5 hours of constant activity. I wear a 10, but bought them in an 11. I'm glad I did because I needed the extra toe room because I wore socks. I'd recommend going a size up anyway to increase your comfort level. These 6" beauties are a winner!
