This boot is cute... I don't know if I could do an all day walking event in them I have yet to try The they look good with jeans and a skirt alike. Leather feels nice and im always pleased with Dolce Vita's craftmanship. In response to the woman who just came back from Iraq. Thank you for your service. Although you don't see them as a combat boot, you should be proud that these boots HAVE in fact become a fashion sensation. Take it as you are being idolized and in a good way... Its unfair to give this boot a bad review based off of opinion and not ownership of the boot. If you were looking for a real standard military combat boot I think we both know Amazon.com isn't the place.

I was very excited to get this boot, but when it came, I was somewhat disappointed. For a $100 boot, it feels a bit too rubbery and it smells werid. I normally wear 7.5, but for this boot I should have ordered 8 or 8.5 to avoid blisters and to be able to wear any kind of socks with it. It is too tight and narrow in the front and this kind of takes away some of the "army boot" effect from it. To me, it looked and felt more like a jazz dance shoe than a cool trendy army boot. I also did not really know what to do with the laces who stuck out in a weird way once you tie them since the shoe "tongue" is continuous with the boot, that means, you can't really hide the laces behind it or strech it out. They were also made of some plasticky shiny material that feels sooo cheap. So if you don't mind the narrow front and could live with the smell (it will probably go away after a while), this shoe is probably right for you. But in my opinion, this shoe is definitely not worth $100.

LOVE them. Wasn't sure if they would be as great as i was expecting but they are. They're leather so they are a little hard but I know by wearing them in they'll become the perfect pair of grungy looking combat boots. Expensive but so far seem worth it XX

So far I really like the boots and have gotten compliments from strangers, however, I've only worn them about 2 times so I can't attest to how long they will last. The boots are very cute and pretty comfortable, which is why I wanted them. They are leather so right now they are still a little stiff, but I know with time they'll get better and better. They are pretty true to size, I am between 9 1/2 and 10 and I got the 10 so I'd have room for multiple pairs of socks in the winter. They seem like they will hold up and last awhile (I plan on treating the leather every so often to keep it protected and waterproof in the winter), but I gave 4 stars because I don't know for sure that they will.
