At first, I listened to the reviews and ordered this boot 1/2 size down. That was a mistake, as the boot runs big in width, but not in length. As a result, when I wore socks, my toes were hitting up against the front of the boot. So I returned them and re-ordered them in my regular size. They are a bit roomy in my regular size, but they allow for thicker socks and also allow for orthotic insoles.

Please note that these boots are cushioned inside, but they offer absolutely no arch support. I suffer from plantar fasciitis, so I must remove the original insoles and replace them with ones that give me some arch support.

Despite it's short shaft, these boots are heavy in weight due to their thick and rugged soles. So if you are looking for a lightweight boot, this is not it. However, they seem durable and also offer good traction.

I purchased these because they have a bit of a platform in addition to the stacked heel. They are comfortable to walk in, while still giving me a little lift in height. They look good with boot-cut jeans, and don't overwhelm a petite person.

I should also note that Amazon packaged these boots HORRIBLY; they sent the boot box inside of a thin plastic bag instead of using a shipping box. As a result, the boot box arrived damaged, crushed, and shredded, with some minor scratches on the boots as well. Receiving a package in such poor condition was very disappointing (especially disappointing that they chose to package a leather item this way). I have left Amazon packaging feedback to report this as well.

I have tried on several different models of Harley Davidson boots, and notice they are not consistent in sizing. That said, if you are looking for a pair of short boots that won't break the bank, I would recommend these. Just be aware that you may need to try on a couple of different sizes to find your preferred fit.

I found these boots to be the least expensive online. The are true to their labeled size and are comfortable. I wore these on a 1000 mile motorcycle trip and have no complaints!

I have had 3 other pairs of Harley shoes and boots that i loved, all in size 7. So I felt confident ordering these in 7 also. Big mistake. These are at least a half size too big, but it's hard to tell because the toe box is so high above my toes. The toe of these boots tips upward and truly resembles clown shoes to me. The leather and quality are nice. I just wish the fit and the look were too. I'm returning these.
