I needed to replace my UGGS and chose ACORN Transit because I liked the look and the price. These boots are confortable, with good arch support and relatively good traction though I would not wear them to walk in snow or heavy rain. The inside is a very soft, warm and cozy fleece. In fact I wear them around the house as slippers. There are two issues that I did not like: the sole does not hold up well. It ripped in the front toe within a couple of months of wear. In addition, the boot does not have ventilation. Because it does not "breathe", they made my feet smell (this does not happen with UGGs).

I bought my first pair of these while on vacation in the Poconos where the weather turned from summer to winter in one weekend. These are very comfortable to wear with no socks and feel like bedroom slippers-they are that cozy. They keep your feet very warm and make a great fashion statement at the same time. I'm a big Acorn fan and hoped this boot would work for the outdoors or at the very least as warm and sturdy house slippers. Unfortunately with my high instep, getting the boot on required some pulling on the fleece. I'm not sure how that would hold up over time. Once on I was very pleased with the look. The shale color is very versatile and I was excited to find a boot that worked like an Ugg but had a style I preferred. I'm between an 8.5-9 and the 9 fit nicely with room for warm socks. The foot-bed is extremely comfortable, After wearing around the house I noticed some slight rubbing from the plastic mold along the top of my heel so these are not going to work for me. I don't doubt many people will love these and have no problems.
