I usually wear shoes in size 6.5 so I bought these boots in size 7 to have a bit more room for the socks in colder weather. However, they fit pretty tight, with no extra room. The leather is soft and of good quality. I like that the opening is not too wide so the ankle does not look like a spoon in a glass (and the pants won't get stuck in it). I hope the rubber sole and steady heel will allow confident walking on a slippery surface.Looking forward to wearing them in Chicago winter.
