I love these boots! They are stylish and comfortable. I have tiny ankles and calves so I was surprised when these boots fit both areas without looking bunched up. The leather doesn't look worn or fake. The heel is the perfect height for someone like me who doesn't like to wear shoes with tall heels (I'm more of a flats or wedge kinda girl). The arch was perfect for my high-arch feet. Perfect boots for leggings and tunics or dresses this winter!

Excited when I opened the package and felt how nice the leather was and how beautiful the boot looked. The disappointment came when I tried on the boot. It fit so nice and snug, except for the top, where it was huge. I would consider the boot a wide calf. I had read a previous review that said they had small ankles and calves and the boot fit well. I decided to buy the boots on that review, and am now returning them.

I wore these boots for the first time on an 18 hour transatlantic journey which included running through three airports, taking my boots off and on several times through airport security and having roller bags rolled over the top of my foot twice. Through it all, my feet felt as if they were in the clouds. These boots were incredibly comfortable, easy to get on and off and strong enough to withstand the battering they underwent.

They then endured three weeks of constant wear in cold and rainy weather. They performed wonderfully my feet were always warm, dry and comfortable.

By the end of my trip, the heals were slightly scuffed but considering the amount of hiking they were subjected to, I think that was par for the course.

My only disappointment was that somewhere along the way home, the tong for one of my zips fell off so I had to use a paper clip to raise and lower the zip. I did not think that this was acceptable with three-week old boots, but I couldn't be bothered to try to get an exchange since my boots showed evidence of wear and tear. The zip still works fine so I am on the hunt for a more elegant way of fastening and unfastening my boot.

Very comfortable! I was afraid they were a little tigh at first, but the leather stretches to fit your foot perfectly. I have a wide foot and short big calves the boots still fit like a glove and look fantastic.

I love these boots! They are just what I was looking for. The heel is perfect and they are so comfortable. I wanted a plain boot without a lot of buckles on them. Expensive but so worth it. I have ordered them in brown also. Very satisified
