I wore my Hush Puppy Geldings (black, size 7.5 N) today at work because it was finally cool enough, and since I was just working half a day I knewI could change shoes at lunch time if my feet hurt. But by noon I had forgotten I had them on, which is then greatest complement I can give to a pair of footwear. They fit my narrow hi-arched feet well, plenty of room in the toe box and heel, although I have room to add some gel heel pads or wear thicker socks. Thee was a little pinch over the inner right ankle and behind the right knee, but was already loosening up by the end of the day. I like how the toe is rounded, the heel height is good, and the shaft width adequate for my legs that aren 't as skinny as they used to be. I will wear these a ton this winter.

I was so excited to receive these boots, as I love the comfort and quality in Hush Puppies. However, these boots are designed for someone with a broad calf. I ordered them in 12m, and while the foot fit great, I would need to take the leg in over three inches. The style of the gussets makes alteration impossible. For reference, my calf measures 15" and a size 12 of this boot measures about 18".

Was really excited about these boots, I'm looking for a good pair of brown faux-leather boots to replace an old pair I got a few years ago. These boots ran slightly small, or at least felt like that to me. They're really narrow in the foot but then the shaft of the boot is really too wide at the top. It makes it so that if you're looking at the boot from the front, it sticks out on the sides of your leg. I wanted a more streamlined look to elongate my legs. I'm really short. So I'm returning these.

Let me preface my review by saying that I have pretty small feet (size 6), but terribly wide calves (15 inches) and short shins (I'm only 5 feet tall), so it's pretty hard to find boots that fit. I actually had to exchange the 6W for a 6.5W because the 6W were still a bit too tight with jeans on. Since the front of the boots slant up some, they do hit the knees about 3/4th of an inch higher than I would have preferred, but it's not too big of a deal. I really like how light the boots are and they're really comfortable. I don't have any feet issues (other than odd dimensions) so I can't say anything about how good it would be for people who need special support and stuff like that. The buckles aren't as shiny as pictured; it's muted and lacks luster, but still compliments the brown leather well.
