I don't think I've ever written a review on anything because it always seems to slip my mind. I just got these boots though and I had to write a review because they are the best boots ever. I searched for a very long time for the right pair of boots. I have had to have foot surgery so I have to be very careful of my footwear and needed to make sure that what I chose wouldn't kill my feet. The boots look even better in person than they did in the picture. The leather is so soft and though I thought the luggage color would be a little lighter like camel from the picture, the slightly darker shade looks even better. I usually order a 7.5 in boots and that is what I ordered for these and they're a great fit so they are true to size. It was a little difficult getting them zipped up at the top of the calves, but they did zip so they just need to be worn in a little. There's not a lot of padding so an insole insert should give the right amount of cushion for extended wear, but my feet still felt pretty good when I put them on. The width in the toe area was really good too even without any breaking in there was no squeezing, which was one of my fears with wanting a pair of leather boots. Just because I can't wear heels doesn't mean I don't want to have cute footwear and these boots fulfill my want to still wear cute shoes while still being comfortable and not killing my feet. I am so happy with my new boots!

I put in so much research looking for a flat, unique, and not black boot. I was really excited when I found this boot.

The worst feature is how uncomfortable they are. The point of wearing a flat boot is to indulge in the comfort. These are stiff on the foot and without any support; the bed of them is actually hard.

The photo is also deceiving because they curve out somewhat awkwardly towards the top, giving them a pirate/western effect. I could survive this, but they are just too uncomfortable. And unfortunately for me, I was trying them on and had to run outside for work, so now I'm stuck with them.

Had the boot arrived as pictured, it would be in my closet. Instead of bone, the boot is really a medium to dark grey with tan accents. I thought the leather would have a more distressed feel/look, not the case. It more resembles a synthetic leather "shiny" look. I was surprised after reading other reviews, but am guessing they purchased a different color. I am a perfect size 10 in length but have a slightly wider than normal foot (although a "C" width is too wide) so these boots ran tight for me. I took them off after 5 minutes due to both the width and how hard they are inside. A gel insert would be mandatory if you are looking for comfort. My calves are smaller (13.5 inch circumference) so this boot would have been perfect with tucked in leggings/jeans. Not sure if best fit for wider calves.

Let me say I fell in love when I saw these bad boys.. I have never desired any shoes as much as these.. Even though I loved these boots I was some what skeptical because the reviews were not all great. I took a chance though because I really really really loved these... Shipping didn't take long at all.. I got em two days after they sent the email that they shipped... So when I opened the box I was happy that they looked exactly like the picture.. I tried em on and they fit. They are some what narrow though so you can't wear thick socks with em..

If you have wide feet I would suggest getting a half size up... I only had em on for 10 seconds though because I had to hurry to work so I can't say much about comfort, but they felt OK for that ten seconds I had em on... Fall needs to hurry up and get here so I can wear my fab boots.....
