This is a very comfortable rubber soled boot. It has ample room for my legs with leggings or slim jeans, which is not usually the case. Best of all, the shaft is lined with a comfy padded material. They run slightly Iarge so I exchanged my original order for a half size down because I plan to wear them with hosiery knee hi's or thin trouser socks.

Nice boots, loose around the calves, hits right below kneecap on me (5'4"). Only downside is the boot is slightly tight around the toes so it slightly blistered my small toe on both feet the first time I wore them. Since, my toes have been fine as I imagine the shoes have slightly stretched. Seem to be of average quality. Loose enough to wear jeans under them and thick socks. Slightly "slouchy" looking around the ankle, but they are sturdy enough leather they stay up straight to your knees without slugging down your leg. Overall, a nice purchase at a nice Amazon price.

Updated review (3/22): I have lowered my rating to 2 stars due to the amount that these get scuffed up/heel construction. The leather outer gets scuffed/ripped so easily. You can tell they aren't covered in a thick leather, but rather a leather covering that is paper thin that can be ripped by accidentally hitting a curb with your toes. I rarely wear these, but since they have "peeled" on the toes and heels from accidental taps to curbs. I'm so disappointed and have tried to repair them. The rubber heel is also separating out from the base (you can peel the heel around the toe slightly off from the base). I can tell these will last another season if I wear them very lightly and am super careful with them. Plastic heel already has worn about half of the way through. I also take good care of them and use mink oil and a scuff eraser pen on them weekly. Very disappointed as they look awesome, but I can tell these won't last for multiple years.

I bought these boots in 6.5, and they are a little bit on the narrow side. I choose black color, the leather is soft and supple. The boots is cute and very comfortable. The calves area is very wide, even after tucking your jeans in. If you have big calves these boots are for you. I am 5ft 1 inches and they fit right under my knee, so I don't think these boots is for a very short person either. I try to love them, but they were not a good fit for me. The boot is well-made, so if you have the height get it.

My husband bought these for me for Chrismas. I LOVE them! Great Quality and very comfortable. They do run just a tiny bit big so if you are between sizes I would recommend going with the smaller size.
