I liked this as a fall boot. If I saved it for casual occasions with pants,etc. it would have been great. However, the insole in this boot did not have the same arch support as my Orthaheel relief slippers. I also felt the outer sole was a bit thin for my long walks versus the cost of the shoes. I decided not to spend that amount of money only to spend $24-$30 more for a better insole for something that might last for a couple of months.

I am on my feet between 7-9 hours a day, needless to say by the end of the day my feet hurts. I usually know from the first day of wearing the new shoes if they will work out or not... yes, this pair is a keeper! No need for additional inserts. A little narrow in the front but overall very comfortable and supportive. It is true to size (and thank you for carrying size 5). Now all I can do is hope it will hold up to the wear and tear.

The boots arrived and wrapped very well. I like the fit, the right foot seems a little to tight on the back of the foot..........I am hoping that will soften up, hope I don't get a blister. I do think the wider these boots are will help walking comfortable, the heel pad is very comfortable. I certainly think it was a fair price. I would buy from this seller again.

I really like the simple look of this boot, and love that it doesn't have the STUPID looking pointy toe thing that other women's booties almost always have. It is a nice, rich brown and looks good under bootcut or flare jeans. I don't know why other reviewers were saying the support is not good, because it has a nice, arch supportive removeable insole. I got a 6.5 at first because that's the Orthaheel size I wear in sandals, but it was SUPER tight when I tried them on, so I had to return them for a 7.5 (since 7 was unavailable). The 7.5 is perfect however, so I advise as others did, to get a size bigger as well. I'm giving this 5 stars based on comfort and function. Orthaheel is becomming one of my go-to brands for shoes!

I love orthaheels, and I think they are cute as well as comfy and awesome at addressing my planters. I was a little nervous ordering these as they didn't look so wonderful in the pictures. But since I love all other orthaheel's I've purchased, I ordered. They look like ugly rain boots to me and the height of the shaft hit at a very uncomfortable place. They went right back. However...amazon and footsmart has been quite accomodating in my purchasing/returning experiences (even though footsmart's phone reps aren't very cheerful and don't really seem to enjoy customer service positions).
