I have to say that I'm a big fan of caterpillar boots. Had a pair that lasted 6 years, but it was time to get NEW ONES!!!!.. I'm glad I bought this item. Very stylish boot looks very nice with jeans, and comfortable . I did notice that when I wear a thin sock the shoe is a little big. I went and bought wool hiking socks which are a little thicker that the usual socks and they fit perfectly....
I recommend this boot!!!

Amazon, you rock on the shipping of these boots! I placed the order on 08/11/2012; and, I received the boots on 08/13/2012. No clue on the speed of delivery, but thank you! I won't count on this type of delivery every time. And, now for my review of these neat looking work boots. Every year the search begins for a pair of low cut boots that I can put on quickly when I need to go outside; or, that the boot will slip off easily. Never dreaming that I could or would be satisfied with the look of the brand Caterpillar. Here are some of the important items I look for in a boot that I will wear. For seven years I have looked at the logger style boot! But, I would never pay the money that the "logger" boots cost from the upper end mfg. Especially, because the logger laces up; and, I heard they are heavy! These boots have the ease of putting on or taking off plus they are fairly lighter weight than most work boots.
For some reason black work boots have never appealed to me nor the rugged brownish tan color. So, the "peanut" coloring caught my eye; and, the reddish/brown coloring is fabulously different. I am not sure about the 2" heel and walking in the field or on hills but I have always wanted to try them. If the style worked for real loggers its got to be good under extreme rugged terrain. I do like the soft slight lug sole versus the extreme hard lug sole that I have considered purchasing in the past. I think I would have like to have a wooden heel but this man made heel might be better in a couple of ways due to wet conditions and the potential electrical shocks and for that matter less weight. I can't comment on durability of the leather at this point, but it appears these boots might just work into a user friendly boot. I am hoping they will age gracefully with time and care.

These boots are beautiful, they look great over skinny jeans or with a dress/skirt. I received them about a week ago and have been wearing them almost every day. The leather is a very nice brown/tan color and seems to be of very high quality. The stacked heal looks great and adds a little bit of extra height without comprimising comfort. The soles also have excellent traction so im excited to have cute boots to wear in the snow this winter. It should be noted that these boots run almost a full size large, I usually wear a 7/7.5 and had to get these in a 6.5. Get these boots in the right size and they won't disappoint!Read Best Reviews of Caterpillar Women's Jodie Boot Here
Boots are well made but they have absolutely NO arch support. I was going to get insoles but then I couldn't find any work pants that go with them...they are narrow--style-wise--and hard to figure out what to do at the ankle. With skinny jeans they seem to be awkward and clunky and with boot cut or flare they seed like cartoon boots that come abruptly out of the bottom of the pants. My issue with them was more about the style than the quality. Others may love these! Also they run about 1/2 size big.

I've been looking for a good work boot pull on style and have had no luck at any local stores for women's work type boots, and came to amazon with high hopes of finding something worth buying to try on. It is a true to size boot and can easily wear with a thick sock or not. I thought I would need a size 8 which is typical for a boot so I have room, but I ordered the 7.5 per other reviews and am very happy I did.I was worried it might rub around the ankle.
I can't wait for these to be worn in!
happy with the reviews for this boot, it helped a lot in choosing a work boot! Thanks Ladies!
Update: It is December now and my feet are freezing in these, definitely need thick warm socks. I tried to put in a pad in the bottom since I wear these almost all day and on the job site my feet could use some more padding, but it makes them a bit more tight so I have to just do without any extra cushion :(
Still a good boot though, just wish they had more padding and were warmer!
