Had the boot about 2 weeks now. I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5 wide due to bunions (wide forefoot, narrow heel), got the size 8 and it fit pretty well. The foot area is a little stiff to begin with, but it conformed to my foot within a day of wear.
This isn't a thick, heavy, keep your feet warm in subzero temperatures boot, but it has a good thick sole. I don't feel the cold seeping through through the sole on my 1 hr walk home on pavement here in Vermont in 10-20 degree temperatures.
When I first opened up the box, I thought that it was kind of an ugly boot. The toe area looked a little more square and manly than I thought it would (based on the pics). But when I put them on, the whole look came together.This boot is high quality and has a great base. I tried them on and they are super stiff, I imagine they would break in eventually but they are also very heavy that I can't see myself wearing them all day and in the office. I live in Michigan and am sick of having cold feet and wanted a solid boot for the snowy, cold weather conditions. These boots are it! If you walk in winter weather often, I'd say these would be a great purchase once broken in.
