I am not a not fan of croc clogs, but was drawn to these winter boots on the website and kept going back and back to them until eventually I went to a croc shop and bought a pair. It rains and snows freqently in the city we live in and I will be wearing these daily they are so light, pull on or off in one go, warm and furry, waterproof and totally non-slip. They are also quite aesthetically pleasing compared to other hiking boots. Most of all they are so comfortable. I wore them last weekend in 10 inch snow and my feet stayed dry and warm all day. Am going back for the black pair soon!

These boots are really sharp looking. Made of quality materials, and with Croc's excellent for-comfort shoe structure.

I have wide feet--made wider by a big toe bunion. I can't afford to have my toes cramped in any way. I measure as an 8.5/9, but usually buy 9.5 to give me the width I need. I ordered a 10 in these. They're a slight effort to get my foot it, but still quite doable. Once in, they are just roomy enough in the toe bed for my toes not to feel cramped together.

In my opinion they are as wide as they should be and most women's shoes are way too narrow and cramping (hence the high percentage of foot problems among women). These boots are shaped like the human foot rather than asking the human foot to take on the arbitrary shape of a shoe. Crocs makes very well constructed shoes with excellent arch support. I love that these have no heel elevation and therefore do not throw my weight onto the ball of my foot where I have pain (bunion and Morton's Neuroma}. If anything, my weight feels redistributed backward a bit which is exactly why these are so comfortable.

All that said, however, I did take these to my local cobbler to see if he could give me even more room in the toe bed so I can have real freedom to wiggle my toes and protection against any further foot pains. Because they are constructed of real leather, it is possible to have them stretched a bit. Most of the shoes I have bought recently are not leather or are constructed in a way that couldn't tolerate any cobbler stretching. These can.

Update: I had them stretched by my cobbler particularly in the spot where my bunion is. Now they are wonderfully roomy and comfy as all get out. I LOVE these boots. I would buy up several pairs of them except that I know (from past experience) that my feet will continue to spread and my Berryessa "collection" won't work for me anymore. I just have to pray that Crocs continues to put out wonderful boots like these. These boots have terrific arch support--right out of the box. In all my other shoes I need to use Superfeet insoles, but not in these. They are absolutely perfect for me.

I just received my brand new Berryessa Hiker Crocs.

I actually ordered them from Crocs.com and they shipped so fast--about three days after ordering, my mail person put them in my hand.

I ordered the black/black with purple shoestrings (also came with extra pair of gray shoestrings too).

I ordered a size 9 (8 is what I normally wear) and the size 9 is a perfect fit on me and I had no trouble getting them on my feet either.

Love, love, love my new Crocs!!!!!

Boot is wide so there is no side pressure in the toe area. It is not very cushioned but cleans up easily.
