These are a great, comfortable shoes, but I would have returned them long ago if I had known that the smell DOES NOT GO AWAY! I sit in meetings, and the motor-oil type smell comes up from under the table! People next to me can smell them! And it has not gotten any better and I've had them for a few months now. Pass, do not buy.
