I was delighted to find this pair of boots here, and I'd pretty much lost hope of doing so. They were affordable, and as awesome as the brown pair I have. The only reason I docked a star is because of smudges on the boots from handling. The material is a faux leather, and I could literally see the hand prints on them. Nothing a baby wipe couldn't resolve, but the stains were on the merit of the seller. As for the boots, they are very comfortable due to the balance between the heel height, and platform. They fit true to size (I normally wear a 7.5W an 8M or an 8.5 regular), and offer plenty of leg room for bigger calves (which I also have). I'am 5"1' and they sit roughly about 3.75-4 inches above my knee. They can be worn with jeans tucked in (if you have slimmer legs/thighs), leggings, or with a nice mini dress/skirt. They're gorgeous boots, and incredibly sexy without being tactless.

The boots are pretty, well packaged and come with a heavy dust bag to fit the length and width. However, the boots are not suede. They are a soft polyurethane, faux leather that is very supple...but I ordered the suede and this is not the first time companies will try to pass off faux for real and suede for what is just a soft material. I am not going to ship back because I am tired of having to be the quality control for materials and truth in advertising, but I am very unhappy with both amazon and shiekh shoes for advertising something falsely. The box and the packing slip show suede. It is not. I LOVE these boots! I love even more that they were marked down to the price that they were. Fits well. I have calves and thighs so i like that the back of the boot allows you to adjust it.
