These boots are beautiful and I loved them and wore them for about 6 months, twice a week. Then warmer weather came and I put them away for about 6 months. When I started wearing them again, I noticed that the leopard spots looked a bit faded. Then one day I wore them into a boot shop with a friend who was visiting me here in Austin and noticed that the Leoparditos they were selling were way more vibrant than mine. I even took my boots off and took a picture of them next to a brand new pair of boots. I emailed the pics along with a complaint letter to Old Gringo who eventually, after mostly ignoring my calls and emails for two months, asked me to mail them in to them. About 2 months later, I got the boots back with a very vague response that basically said, too bad, boots fade. I never got these boots wet, nor had I ever mistreated them. I hadn't even worn them everyday! They inferred in the letter that I must have been wearing the hell out of the boots. So basically now I am stuck with what is essentially a very expensive pair of brown suede boots... because since most of the leopard spots have worn off, that's what the boots now look like. Old Gringo does not stand behind their productseven though the boots are super comfortable and sassy and were so beautiful when I bought them, I will never buy another thing from them. If I can figure out how to upload the pictures, I will do so.

These boots rock the house! They are not only absolutely beautiful, but they are soooooo comfortable, from the moment you put them on. They run pretty true to size. I usually take an 8.5 in a boot that I wear a heavier sock with, and I took an 8.5 in these. They are expensive, but well worth the money. I will absolutely LIVE in mine. They'd look great with jeans, or in the warmer weather, with shorts or a mini skirt. If you are at all thinking about it....GET THEM!

I have been eying these boots for a while now and I finally gave in and bought them. There were other sites that I was looking at before Amazon, but the prices were much higher. I bought these and received them in a short time even though it said it would be around 8 days, I got them in like 3 or 4! They are awesome looking! I love the height and everything about them. I love how they are already wore out looking, like I have been wearing them for a few years. They are a beautiful color, that would go with anything. I bought my normal size, an 8 1/2 and they were a little snug, I normally wear thin socks with boots. I put on the socks and the boots were a little snug to pull on, but after I got them on they felt perfect. Probably after a few wears of pulling them on and off they will break in more and probably won't be tough to get on. Overall I am very excited to start wearing them. Oh and in these pics on Amazon, the print on the toe looks faded like as if the leopard print is almost not visible, but it is on the boot itself, it is very visible, but looks awesome! I totally recommend these boots! And the height on my is like between ankle and the calf, I have several mid-calf boots and these hit right under my calf! great height for dresses, shorts, skirts, or even over skinny jeans! You will NOT regret buying these boots!!!! GET THEM!

I contacted Old Gringo and told them about the spots fading off the boots after only wearing them maybe 7 or 8 times. They told me that the spots are just dyed on and will wear off with time. I feel extremely disappointed as the spots are why I fell in love with the boot in the first place! Now they are just plain brown boots that cost a small fortune. I have several pairs of Old Gringo's and will discontinue buying from them due to their poor customer service.
