I have recently decided to admit my feet hurt. I have been trying to move to better shoes (slowly becuase they are expensive) but they have made a HUGE difference. Although heels are a no no for feet especially when you might be feeling some pain in your big toe area, these are the most comfortable I have worn. You do need to wear them about 3 times before the leather gives just enough to make them perfect. For those with flatter feet I would reccomend a support which I have in these boots. I have the black and brown pairs! I also have purchased the black and brown clogs from Dansko. My feet do not hurt (Bunions there I said it!). That is the key. Plus these actually look good! Give it a try. You might want to go to a store that carries these to get the right size! Then order up. The prices for this boot were much less than other sites when I was ordering.

These boots are beautiful! Unfortunately they were too big in the ankle and calf. I ordered my normal size and the foot portion fit perfectly! They were just not made for slender legs!

The boots are absolutely beautiful but how frustrating that they do not create more of an elastic zone for the calf. They fit wonderfully in the foot area .. but i could not close them at the calf. I do have big road biking calfs -but I am VERY surprised that i could not even zip them shut.

This I bought as my dressy black leather boot. It fits snug on the calf, but a little baggy around the ankle (not enough for me to return it, though). First time I wore it, for 5 hours, was great. I even danced in them. So, considering the heel height, I was very impressed. Dansko's are usually too narrow for my wide feet, but this one fit great. I did order a size up (I'm an eight), and the heel is a tad loose, but overall I'm very happy.
