I wear a size 7 so that is what I originally ordered, I had to return them because they were a whole size too big. Other than that these shoes are just what I've been looking for, the toe box is roomy, the lace up design make the fit perfect. This boot is soo comfortable, it adds height without feeling like you are wearing heels. The styling can be worn casual with skinny jeans or dressier with skirts and dresses. I am definitely pleased with these boots.

I love these Dr Martens desert boots! they are by far the most comfortable heels I have ever worn. If you are new to the Dr. Marten brand you must known that there are not any half sizes. and these run a bit big. I wear an 8.5 and seldomly a 9. I always order a US 8 which is a UK 6 and I have plenty of room, I like to be able to wiggle my toes. I've order dr martens shoes and boots for the past 20 years, my feet are just a very little on the wide side and Docs are a great fit for me. I think these desert boots run a bit longer than normal Dr Martens so I would suggest if you wear a true size 8 and no larger to order a 7 or UK 5. I get compliments all the time on the booties and I am thinking about ordering them in brown.

This boot is stylish, of great quality, and fits well, even though I have a narrow foot. It's very comfortable and stable, despite the heel height. I began wearing them around the house as soon as they arrived, and no breaking-in period whatsoever was required.

I liked the black ones so much that I also ordered the dark-brown ones!

These are the most comfortable winter type booties I have ever worn. They have gotten me safely through ice and snow but also represent stylishly during business meetings where everyone looks at everyones shoes, c'mon, you know who you shoe lookers are. They keep me from having to remember to bring a differnt pair of shoes to change into. Will purchase again in a different color.

this is my new go-to shoe. Surprisingly comfortable and not heavy. Goes great with tights and skirts/dresses. The leather is quick to break in. I'm usually a 6.5 or 7 with wide feet and the 6 I ordered fits great
