I LOVE these boots! (So much that, after a few days I ordered another pair in brown!...they'll both take me into March or April!) Super comfortable & supporting...I actually got them NOT for the toning aspect, but because this type of shoe is "foot ergonomic"...no flat-foot feeling as you walk. They're great.
Here's the note on sizing: when I buy shoes, the perfect fit for me is usually 7.5 WIDE...but I'll buy 8's because they fit me wide enough, and depending on the style, the extra bit of toe area doesn't bother me. But THESE BOOTS are PERFECT for me in an 8. Perfect width and perfect length. (Another reason I ordered another pair...it's not often I get the exact perfect fit!)

I really wanted to love these boots. I read reviews all over the net, researched prices, agonized over sizing. Decided to order from an amazon affiliate that has free return shipping. I sized down due to the reviews. I wear 8.5 and ordered an 8 in the black leather. The fit is great in the foot. The calf however is another story. I have boots. All boots I tried on and the boots I own all have a little bit of elastic in the calf area to allow for some slight give (I have three pairs of all different brand leather boots and have tried on a dozen others). Fitflop does not have any elastic, which means no give. I apparenly have muscular calves? These are snug. Not a deal killer because I bet the leather stretches with time. Again all my other leather shoes or boots have. I am just not impressed with the quality vs price. I got these on sale and I still feel I paid too much for them. It is hard to justify when you put it next to the awesome keen boots I bought in the fall for close to the same price I paid fr these. The leather used by fitflop is really low quality, the lining is cheap and I am not sold on the wobble board sole. It just does not feel much different than a regular shoe. Comfortable? Yes, very. I just don't think the thin almost plasticy leather or cheap lining will hold up. And for the price I just can't justify it. Maybe if they were like 70% off I could but I think these are going back...Buy FitFlop Women's Hooper Tall Boot Now
Fitflop, always comfortable off the bat, these are really good looking. Very pleased these have a side zip, one of the best features. Great room in the calves, adjustable buckle on the side which is fashionable and cinched should you need it. Can't speak highly enough of these, definitely their best looking boot to date, going to be a staple for me this winter. I have worn these daily since receiving them already.Read Best Reviews of FitFlop Women's Hooper Tall Boot Here
I ordered a size 5, I usually wear 6 but they fit foot length, but I had to return. The fitting on my calves was much to tight and I do not have large calves, but these were way to snug. You have to be below average size calves for these to fit comfortable. Also, they fit narrow another deal breaker my feet were throbbing and I was sitting down with these on. To bad because I got them at a phenomenal price, but they went back. I don't think I would have liked the look of leather, but suede was cute and the blue as so pretty, I am bummed about the color most I really wanted blue boots. I have to say Amazon is awesome to shop with, I am a prime member and take full advantage of my membership :-)Want FitFlop Women's Hooper Tall Boot Discount?
I would have given five stars to these boots but their appearance is not that stylish. If I could give them ten stars for comfort, I would! I was in NY on vacation and walking all day, by night time I didn't feel like taking them off....they are like sleepers. If you are wearing them with your pants tucked inside the boot they look much nicer, otherwise they look like granny's boots. But hey, it is all about comfort and about how you carry them.
