Overall great boot, looks fab. They would be a comfortable boot if the right boot didn't have a nail that is not flush stabbing the bottom of my foot. I returned my

first pair because they run a bit bigger then my normal size 8.5. I also notice a slight nail protruding on those as well, but since

I was returning them for a size 8 I didn't think anything of it.

My new boots that now fit perfect arrived today but the nail stabbing me in the foot pretty much ruined it for me, it was more than slight,

it was very noticeable to the eye as well as to my poor foot..

I am not sure if I can hammer the nail down without ruining the inside of the shoe, so not sure what to do at this point.

UPDATE:

I decided to take the nail out, after peeling back the material I found that it is not a nail. It is glue dried solid and left in place under the material. I removed most of it and seems ok so far.
