I had these boots on my wishlist and received them as a Christmas gift. The "brown" is not the color pictured. The pair I got was more of an ivory with tan "scuffs". Since I already have a pair of combat boots that color, I will be exchanging them for the Grey. I usually wear either 7.5 or 8 and chose the 8 since I normally wear thick socks with boots, but when I do my exchange, I will get the 7.5. They are not overly huge, but I think the 1/2 size down will fit perfect. Here is the strange part...when I did a search for the other colors available, I found another link here on amazon for the SAME exact boot (same brand, shipped from the same company) for twenty dollars less than the ones here. I'm not sure why. But, if you are considering these boots do another search for "modesta tobe" and you will see the less expensive ones! They ARE extremely comfortable and I think I will get lots of wear out of them. I don't wear heels too often because I do a LOT of walking at work, but these honestly feel like flats! So happy I finally found a pair of cute heeled boots that I can wear often. And even more happy I found the less expensive ones, so I can get another little item as well! lol

These shoes are really cute and look great, but you get what you pay for. The bottom of the heels are completely worn off and I've only had these boots for a couple of months. Pretty sad. I do walk a lot in them and wear them to work, though. So if you don't wear them constantly, they'll probably hold up better.

These boots were perfect for the costume I was doing and very comfrotable. They are high quality shoes and they look great on!
