I have two pair of this same brand in a short boot and they are fantastic! I wanted a long boot that didn't gap at the top. The Tegan boot is described as measuring approximately 14.75" around the calf. The top of the calf actually measures 17.50"! I have athletic legs and they are too big on me so I can't imagine what they would look like on someone with very slim calves. They are also quite pointed in the toe which fit me fine as I ordered a half size larger. Their older boots were more squared or rounded in the toe. I really was hoping these would fit but because the calf circumference is so large I am returning them.

If I do say so myself, I look hot in these boots. I'm surprised at how comfortable they are for the height of the heel. Any height on a heel always gives me pause as my back usually does'nt do well with a heel more than 1" tall. They stay up on my leg without haveing to tug on them all of the time I like that. The stretch suede is very confortable on my legs. True fit.

These boots were a gift for my daughter. She is absolutely thrilled with them. Even in freezing weather they are toasty warm.
