Boot fit true to size, I always wear 8.5 and Merrell sizes run very true. Yes they are slightly snug feeling at first due to being new and leather but after a half hour they are perfect so don't size up or they will be too loose. Nice and warm, esp. with a thick pair of socks..plus very stable in bad terrain. Also great looking!

really enjoy these boots...comfortable, easy to slip on, and especially love the fact that they are totally waterproof. i wear a size 10 in practically every shoe and maybe could have gone with a 9.5 here but if i'm wearing thick socks they are perfect

When these boots arrived, I was pleased that the cleat-like treads looked and felt just as "grippy" as they had appeared in the picture. I have worn them in snow, feeling quite secure, but will probably use additional ice wear if "dreezing frizzle" rears its ugly head. The loops on front and back, and the give of the back laced area makes them easy to put on--I can do it standing up without keeping the dog waiting to obey his call. :-) At first wearing, they seemed just a tad snug, but have stretched a bit in the couple two three weeks I've had them. My thickest socks feel fine. (I didn't up or down size.) And, it was also as I suspected. They are quite attractive, meeting my standards in this area as well, most of all lacking that clumpy feeling. Warm? Yes, indeed, and thanks for asking.

These boots are awesome. I travel often for work, and have several trips each year to the Northeast and Midwest when there is snow on the ground. These boots are very, very warm, totally waterproof and stylish. These look awesome with jeans, but I can even pull off wearing them with slacks at work on snowy days.

I have worn Merrells for YEARS and have about 10 pairs of their mules, but these boots are quite small and I have to wear with a very thin pair of socks...surely because of the fur lining I am guessing. Once on, they are very comfortable as expected.
