I am a size five with calves that are about 16" wide, these boots have only a circumference of 14 6/16 max for a size five. The size 11 is the only size that has a circumference of 16 5/8. So, I sugguest before buying this boot on Amazon, go to Naturalizers website and take a look at thier actual measurements. I had to send these back. However, they are a great looking and feeling boot.

So disappointed in these boots. They look great, but are way too tight in the foot, and I ordered the wide width based on the reviews I read here. I have a moderately wide foot, but wear a B width in MOST shoes. This boot bags around my ankle and wont zip past my calf muscle. There is plenty of room at the top...so i guess if I had narrow feet, cankles, and fat knees they would be great! Since I have wide feet, normal ankles, muscular calves, and normal knees they're awful. Also the toe is very rounded so its not actually the best looking boot either. Leather is soft and nice...too bad the boots are a bust. :(

A beautiful boot, soft and flexible. However, I could barely zip it up on a bare leg, forget wearing with jeans. I was really disappointed not to be able to keep them. Had they fit, I would have rated them 5 stars.

If you knew me, you would know I do not wear women's boots. Simply because I am not a member of the fairer sex! (I also do not have the thighs for it. ;) ) Seriously though, being a Naturalizer, the gift recipient was overjoyed, and I knew the quality would be high. The wide shaft does help, although it could be slightly more relaxed so they are easier for the lady to put on. Fortunately if you live near a Naturalizer store, you can take your online purchases into their store and they will stretch them for you. They will only stretch Naturalizer products, but the advantage is that if they should damage your shoe or boot while stretching it, they will repair or replace it. So even if you find this or other Naturalizer boots to be just slightly snug, do not hesitate to take them in for an adjustment.
