Very poor design. I have a high instep and I couldn't even get my foot in the foot. If there was a zipper it would be fine. There was absolutely no give to pull it on. Back in the box after a bout a minute.

Update 01/02/13

I do love this boot. As another person suggested, I upsized by 1/2 size. A thin sock works. Its a little snug across the instep, but I suspect they will stretch out a little. I also suspect they will be in my bag tomorrow for wearing in the office. Too much snow and ice to get new boots all salty. :)

These boots are very comfy but still look sexy and stylish. The green color is very neutral yet unique enough to set them apart from your run of the mill browns or tans. The soles are soft and "rubberized" so they make for quiet walking on tile or hardwood floors. My feet are borderline wide so I ordered the wides and they fit great. Very easy to get on and off...no zipper or buckles.

I also have a very high instep and very high arch. I ordered them a half size up ( a quarter inch difference in length), and they fit perfectly. If they stretch when breaking in, like my hiking boots did, a slightly thicker sock or a slightly thicker insole makes all the difference in the world. I think they are a cute boot and easy to slip on and run. Knocked them down a star because the heel is a bit high for me and the olive color is not as neutral as I had hoped.
