I have feet that are a little wide, so my toes do get scrunched a little when I wear these all day... but I have walked distances in them and the comfort is definitely not bad for the height. I would suggest an insole to stop your foot from sliding. I do get compliments on them... they are hot!The leather is soft. Comfort is not bad at all with a 3" heel and the boot looks great.
