These were a bit loose fitting, like a slipper and there isn't any foot support. I wear athletic shoes alot, so the transition to these is much different. I need to get some arch support inserts. I love the look of the boots. I wear them with skinny jeans rolled up a bit to show off the boot. I bought some in black as well.

I have loved every pair of Blowfish shoes I've purchased so far. These boots are no exception. The style is great, and although they give the typical Blowfish "no arch support" I do think they're pretty comfortable (I generally put insoles in my Blowfish shoes).

My one complaint is that the fit is a little bit wonky. Not a lot, but enough that it affects the way my foot rubs in the shoe. All the other Blowfish shoes I own are a size 8 but since they were sold out in that size and some of the other reviews commented that this style runs small, I decided to order the 8.5 and take my chances. I was relieved to find the 8.5 was pretty much a perfect fit length wise, although they're a tiny bit tighter through the middle of the shoe than I was expecting (around the ball of the foot). One of the reasons I love this brand is that they always give me enough room through the toes, so I was surprised that they seemed a bit too small width-wise, even though I got a half size up. The heel and ankle are pretty huge; with the shoes zipped and laced as tight as they'll go, I can still slip my foot out easily. This also means my heel rubs around on the back of the shoe quite a bit (with regular crew socks, not thick boot socks or anything). The shaft of the boot is stiffer than I was expecting, but I am hoping once they've been worn a bit and start to form to my feet more the "floating heel" effect will diminish. I have maybe half a dozen pair of Blowfish shoes but this is only my second pair of "tall" boots in this brand, so I don't know if the wide shaft/ankle area is characteristic of all Blowfish boots or just this style.

tl;dr: they seemed to run a little small in some places and big in others. Overall, I would still recommend this boot.

i was always looking for these length boots and i finally found these online. these boots are very comfortable and the have soft fuzzy materal inside them. you can wear them with almost anything. the laces are pretty long so youll have to tuck them inside. other than that the boots are perfect!
