Bought these boots for my wife's Xmas and she wore them for about a week until the zipper broke. Sent them back to Amazon for a refund and ordered a new pair on a completely different order. Unbelievably, Amazon repackaged her used defective boots and shipped them to us as if we weren't going to notice they were used and defective. They tried to wipe down the soles and scuff marks but it was very apparent they were used. Keep in mind this was on a completely different order and these boots could have been sent to anyone. This makes me wonder how often this happens at Amazon. Selling and shipping used stuff and passing it off as new.....

The boot is very comfortable and attractive and the suede fabric is chic. My calves are on the wide side and these boots fit snugly near the calf but still are comfortable because there is some give in the fabric. Definitely would recommend these.

I searched and searched for tan leather boots that could double for causal and work/dress wear, and had no luck in my price point ($200 or less). Found these on sale at really great price--well below my price target, and in the mid $100 range. Beautiful tan (amber) color, and the height is very walkable! Sizing was fine. I wear a 9 Medium, but the sizing was 9 9.5, which offers room for thick socks in winter.

My only concern, as noted by other Amazon reviewers, is that there were a couple of small scuff marks on the boot. I inspected the boot very closely, particularly the soles and toe box, to make sure these were not a damaged boot that was sent as new. Amazon has always been upfront on returns that are re-packaged with slight issues; and items are marked ("Used Like New") and priced accordingly. These boots had absolutely no wear on bottom--flawless bottom. So, I assume the slight scuffs came from packaging. The slight marks were not enough for a return, given no sign of wear, stunning color, and low, sale price. Without these positives, the boots would have been shipped back immediately!

I think I will have to be careful with the Amber color. I will get some leather guard, as these boot will scuff easier than the black ones. Given this, I give the boot a 4 stars versus 5.

Very comfortable all day long and true to size. Well made. I receive so many compliments on the beautiful color. Bought these boots after I bought the black ones. Love them both!
