I was looking for a pair of classy tall riding boots for quite awhile, and I finally found them from Joan and David! I am 5'10, and have athletic calves, and was a little worried they would not fit. I ordered a size 10, and when they arrived, I was so happy, as these tall boots are gorgeous, and found they were made very well. I tried on the boots, zipped them up with no issues, and they fit perfectly. I would agree with some of the other reviewers, the boot shaft is quite tall, as they come just below my knees. They are the perfect equestrian tall boots, classy, classic, elegant, and I would definitely recommend them.

These boots are really pretty and i love that they are leather. I purchased them because i read that they would fit a wider calf however that is not the case. So if you have a wide calf i dont recommend.

I really liked these boots but just could not get the right fit I thought the color was great and I really liked the clean no fuss look. It was sleek, not clunky or too "teen" looking. I had to return them but would definitely have kept them if the fit would have been right.

I was needing riding boots and happened to read a review on these. I purchased the Joan and David Zahari Riding Boot in Brown size 8.5 and hoped that the sized worked (I am 8.5 to 9); they are perfect. The first time I wore them was on a 3 hour ride and I could not have asked for any better boot. They are comfortable, easy to get on and off, the leather lining makes for great comfort and my feet never got hot (it was 85 degrees). The boots did not scuff on that ride (BTW western not english) and looked new with a little dust. These are terrific and I love them. Amazon had a great price and shipped quick. For me the customer, it was a win win.

I must say when I opened the box, I instantly fall in love with the boot. Once I tried it on and sat down the back of the boot cut into my leg. I was so disappointed that I had to return them.
