I bought these boots hoping I could wear then on long walks in the snow, with or without snowshoes, and at night with a dress or with skinny jeans tucked inside. They work perfectly on all counts. I went up a size in case I wanted to wear thick socks, which I haven't tried yet. You can lace them up to accommodate what you're wearing and they provide plenty of support. I wore them with ski socks on a two hour hike up and down hills on Aspen Mountain yesterday (with snowshoes) and my feet stayed toasty warm, perfectly dry, and comfortable. And then I wore them with a dress and tights last night and felt adorable. What more could you ask for...especially at this price.

This has got to be the warmest most comfortable snow boot I've ever worn. I bought it today, took the dogs for a mile walk in 15 degree weather and my toes stayed nice and toasty. I did have to buy a full size up to wear with heavy socks. I usually wear a size 7, but the 8 fit perfectly. Love these boots!Buy Kamik Women's New York Snow Boot Now
I have been having a hard time finding warm winter boots that fit. If they were the right size for my toes not to be squished, then my heels would lift out with each step. After having no luck at several local stores, I spent several hours online reading reviews of many winter boots, and finally narrowed it down to three based on ratings, price, and appearance. I didn't think these would be my top choice but once I tried them on there was really no choice; these fit so well, they are very comfortable, and after stomping around in snowy Vermont this past weekend I can vouch for the fact that they are warm and waterproof.I usually wear a size 6 and these seemed true to size. Plenty of room for my toeseven with thicker socks on; but my heels don't ride up with each step.

These boots are great in terms of offering protection in snow and keeping your feet warm and dry. I read that half sizes must order up, so I ordered a size 9 in cinder as I wear 8.5 in boots to accommodate thick socks. They turned out to be huge on my feet. I am a petite person so it did overwhelm me. But, looking at the quality and price I just ordered the black in size 8. I'm hoping they work instead. They look stylish and are very comfortable. Just make sure of the sizing.I just moved to New York at the beginning of February, and not a week in, we got a pretty heavy downpour of snow. And I don't live in Manhattan where they salt the streets and actually care about clearing a path for pedestrians, no. I live in Bushwick, Brooklyn, where unless a local business is open and trying to attract customers, or the residents of a building got tired of the snow piling up on their walk, the sidewalks are in it and deep! So, I needed some fantastic waterproof snow boots to save my footies from freezing, and THESE BOOTS ARE IT! As for sizing, based on other reviews, I wasn't sure how to go, since I'm typically an 8.5. So I ordered an 8 and a 9, since the company offered free returns (at the time check to be sure!). The 8 fits the width of my foot well (I have slender feet) but my big toe grazed the front of the shoe.. Not something I want to worry about on long walks. I tried the 9's and they are nice and roomy without thick socks, and they do make my feet look a bit bigger than normal, but the extra room is much appreciated (and really it's only about a half inch of space to the front the real size difference is in the width) and I can wear thick socks with no problem. Actually, with socks, the boots are nice and snug but not in an "Ack! too tight!" way, more of an "Mmm, cozy boots!" way. Haha! Anyway, I have worn these boots many days now since they arrived, through all sorts of conditions and they are certainly waterproof, cozy, and durable! The only problem I have with them is the insole doesn't provide an adequate amount of heel support for me. But I fixed that easily with a Dr. Scholl's insert I already had perfect!! Now I can wear them for hours without my feet getting exhausted, wet, or cold. Love love love! Perfect for all the walking and weather conditions of New York :)
