I love the look of harness boots and engineer boots. And I love over the knee boots (I just love boots, really. Someday I will move to Canada and marry them. We will be so happy.)
These? They'll do.
I was, at the very least, pleased that they fit. The calf is about 15 15.5 inches (boot opening is a start, but with thigh-high/OTK boots we NEED the calf circumference as well.) The leather is OK pretty middle of the pack, not too plasticky or stiff, but certainly not of a high quality. It does stretch a bit during wear, which was good I actually wore these riding an actual motorcycle, and it wasn't uncomfortable to sit with my knees bent. They were also reasonably comfortable for walking, although at one point I found the ankle bunched in an odd way around the zipper.
I was really excited about the style so tuff! I dug the exterior zipper (which after a hard day's wear, seemed to want to live about a half an inch down from its actual destination at the top of the boot, but it does reside at Knee Bend, and that's one of the characteristics of the neighborhood.)I also love to death the ROUND TOE (boot people please do this more, and less pointy) and the lug soles, though the latter could be a touch more flexible.
However, the fit. Let's talk about this. First, I just whipped out my measuring tape, and they are actually about 21 inches from the arch. 22 inches including the heel. This could be significant, to the taller ladies in particular. The fit on the foot is quite true to size, the 6.5 fits perfectly. But the fit up the leg is odd. There is a thin faux fur lining in the boot (not mentioned in the description or any reviews I have read thus far) that, along with the not-so -top-notch leather, gives them kind of an odd look that I have decided to call "pantsy" They look like they have pants tucked into them when in fact no such thing is happening. Not sleek. It's a bit unflattering, and keeps these boots from being as awesome as they could be.

TRUE LOVE! I've been searching for the perfect everyday riding boot, so I was a little unsure about this OTK style for everyday wear. I nearly fainted when I opened the box... these boots are even more gorgeous in person, and can be dressed up or down depending on where I'm headed. I'm 5'7" and my normal size 6 1/2 fall just above my knee. They look great with skinny jeans and an drapey sweater or long-sleeved tee and scarf. These will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come. GORGEOUS! Get them you won't be disappointed!Buy Miz Mooz Women's Miller Riding Boot Now
So after reading the reviews and owning a pair of the Miz Mooz Domino boot, I decided to take the plunge. Not a difficult decision really when the charcoal gray are less than $50.00 for all leather over the knee riding boots. Really? Less than $50.00?! Free super saver shipping was fast, and I have to agree with all the other reviewers! Yes, the zippers are stiff. (I am getting a sore spot on my finger from yanking the zipper up.) Yes, the foot runs about a half size large. Yes, of course it is a little tight when bending your knee... you are in over the knee boots! The yesses that are important are these... yes, the inside zipper that goes all the way from the calf to the inner bottom of the footbed is well placed and a necessity! YES, they are extremely comfortable. I love having that little bit of extra room in the foot. Are they comfortable for extended periods? Really can't say... have only had them on for about an hour now, but I can't see any issues.
I will say that if you are a "bigger gal", jeans or jeggings may be an issue. I am wearing leggings, and they fit perfectly, but I don't have a ton of room to spare, although they seem to be stretching out a bit. Overall, this was a great purchase given the price. And the styling is fantastic. Love the rocker chic these boots add to the wardrobe. Right now I am wearing them with black leggings, a charcoal sequin tank and a ruffled cardy. These are versatile. If you're on the fence, do it. You'll be glad you did.

I love these boots, nice leather, wiggle room for toes and warm socks, color is a very nice real dark charcoal grey-almost black in color. I love the height of the boot, just above my knee, leather is soft enough to bend the knee comfortably.Only drawback is the zippers seem a bit stiff.
I highly recommend1I love these boots, they are high (over the knee) but I love them. The only problem/complaint I have with these boots is that the gold studs on the strap across sthe ankle keep falling off, most at some point when I don't realize so I can't save them to put them back on. For the price you'd think they'd secure the studs better.
