There's a cool funky retro look about these shoes, but there's nothing retro about their comfort. There is a lot of arch support, and a nicely padded foot bed. The soles are great, they practically grab the icy or wet pavement and prevent you from slipping.
They run just a tad smaller than our standard American sizes, so if you like to wear thicker socks, go up a 1/2 size. But they're worth every penny.

They fit wonderfully, it is very difficult to find shoes in size 35. The leather stretches, so account for that. But, they aren't really water proof. This is my first pair of Pikolinos shoes and it won't be my last! So cool looking; I'm diggin' this style. The shoes just fit my foot perfectly and the leather is oh so awesome. I got the red ones and yes, they are funky looking; way different than any shoe I own. I'm a solid 9.5 M so I ordered the 9.5/10 and they are perfect even if I want to wear a thicker pair of socks. The soles are made of a sturdy rubber; there is no way I will slip and fall in these! The price is a bit steep but worth every dime. I'm seriously thinking about getting them in blue!
