My search is over! I just received these boots and couldn't be happier. They are so much nicer in person. I was a bit concerned because in the photo it appears that the bottom of the shaft is scrunched where the strap is, but that is not the case. The strap is adjustable and the boot shaft is not scrunched at all. The leather is substantial and glove soft, and the studded strap and back exposed zipper add a cool, edgy touch, without being over the top. I'm in my 50's and try to dress my age but still have some style.
The best thing about these boots is how comfortable they are. I wear a size 9 and ordered them in my regular size. I have muscular legs (14-3/4" at the calf), and these boots fit beautifully, are easy to put on and zip, and have enough room for leggings or skinny jeans, if that's your thing. These are the best fitting boots I've tried, and I've tried a lot. If you have skinny legs, they might be too wide in the calf. They come just below my knee, so they'll be great with skirts and dresses. I highly recommend these boots!
