I purchased these slipper boots because I was tired of having to replace cheap imitations of these every month. These booties have every feature you want in a slipper boot, even the features you never knew you wanted! Let me start by saying that I am always a little nervous buying any kind of footwear online I'd much rather try things on. But, Acorn has such a great reputation that I risked it, and I am so glad I did.
As for fit, which is the most important thing: I wear a US 7.5N, and these shoes still feel comfy, even with a bulky sock. I have a narrow foot & high instep, and the shoe accommodates my foot well. There's ample room along the sides to accommodate a wider foot. One of the best features of this bootie is the Acorn sole. It's not too rigid, not too floppy; it's just right! As someone who tends to sit at my computer for hours, I like that the sole encourages a neutral foot position. I have a bad habit of flexing my foot, and leaving it like that for too long when I am gaming. (It nearly lead to plantar fasciitis.) Thanks to these booties, I have broken that habit and kept my feet warm at the same time!
The outer sole is made of a flexible rubber. I really appreciate the grippy sole because I have hardwood floors throughout my house and walking down stairs in no-grip slippers was kind of slippery & scary. I'm also happy that the rubber sole has left no marks on my hardwood floors.
I ordered the Cobalt Tweed, and they are very pretty. Pretty enough that I have worn these to run errands in public. They really are the best combination of everything you love about a warm winter boot and everything you love about a comfy slipper. I normally avoid wool because it's so itchy, but with these boots, no wool ever touches your skin. You get the benefits of wool without the drawbacks. The inner lining of the leg is a high-quality soft black fleece, and the insole itself is generously lined with sherpa fleece.
I've been wearing these slipper boots since December and they show no signs of wear. I am so pleased with this purchase!

These slipper boots are warm and cozy. I love them! I normally wear a size 9 or 9.5. I was worried that these would be too big (I had to order the 9.5-10), but they just fit, so I would say that they run more towards the smaller sizing.Buy ACORN Women's Giona 11169 Faux Fur Boot Now
I bought these slipper boots to replace some Ugg slippers that had seen one too many days. I love these slippers. The size is quite accurate for me. I wear a 9 and I got the large and they fit fine. When I put these slippers on my feel just melted into them. They keep me very warm and cozy. I can't wait to get home from a long day and put on my Acorn's. I love love love them.Read Best Reviews of ACORN Women's Giona 11169 Faux Fur Boot Here
I really like this boot/slipper! I wear a size 8W so I thought the 8-9 would work but its too big, considerably, but as they are just house slippers to wear around the neighborhood it works well with heavy socks in winter and they in no way want to come off my feet even when not wearing socks, so big but not bad. My real complaint is that the top is constantly falling down, the elastic band to hold it up is in the middle and it doesn't hold it up well. The top portion of the boot is always slumped and goofy looking. When it stretches a bit it starts looking like a big mouth hanging open from my calf. BUT they are incredibly comfortable, have held up fabulously through many washes and are still pretty cute despite the huge mouth. So, I still love them and wear them all over our neighborhood but would never wear them out because of their clumsy style.

Excellent slipper sock style indoor boot. The wool blend tweed adds to the layers that keep out the draft. So often traditional style slipper socks are drafty between the loops in the knitted fabric. Sides look like a heavy suede. No drafts in the construction of the seams.
Flannel fleece lining. The body has gathers that hug without being tight. So it fits well through the ankle.
The layer under foot is some sort of foam that cushions with no real support. The exterior is a molded rubbery material with a slightly bumpy texture. Traction seems OK indoors.
Best design so far.
