These boots are super cute and I was thrilled with them when I first got them. I ordered a full size larger--a 9 rather than the 8 I generally wear--and they fit just right. I wore them ONCE and the back seam started to come undone. Looking closely I found that the "shearling" lining is actually wool fuzz on a synthetic base, while the cuff is sheepskin. I was going to get them repaired but now I am going to send them back. I would have appreciated knowing that they were lined in wool. Also, you cannot wear them with the cuff up without the seam showing. The cuff is black but the lining is white.

I normally wear a 10 or 10 1/2 (if I can find it). This was ordered in an 11 after reading another reviewer's comment, and my toe touched the front of the boot (so I returned them, but with regrets....these are well made and very attractive as well as comfortable and warm).

These boots are wonderful.....BUT...The sizes of these boots are incorrect. A size 9 USA = size 40 European. I wear a size 9 1/2, since there were no 1/2 sizes i ordered a size 10 (larger). It is too small. So now I need to order a size 11 BIG difference!!

I just received these and the quality of materials exceeds my expectations. Also, I followed suggestions regarding fit and the size 39 (described as equivalent to US 9)is comfortable on my size 8 feet. I bought these for trips out of our temperate climate to colder, snowier places. That's where they'll be road-tested. I love the color-blocking, the molded sole, the mouton lining, the Canadian pedigree (my other Canadian-made shoes tolerate all weather extremes), and the affordable clearance price. Four stars until I've tested them in the tundra . . .
