I love these boots. Have worn them 3 times so far and have already received positive comments each time. I bought a half size bigger than I normally wear due to other reviews. I am pleased I did but, it was probably not necessary. I have ample room in them which is not in keeping with the way I usually have my shoes fitted. I love the colour and am considering buying other colours in the same 'generous' size.

I'm usually a size 5-6 in regular shoes and size 6.5 in heels/boots. This might be because I have slightly wide-set feet. But with all my other ankle boots I'm usually good with a size 6. These actually run small as other reviewers have mentioned. So I ended up having to exchange them for a size 7! I couldn't even get my feet all the way in the size 6 so I wasn't sure if a half size would be enough so I ordered size 7. They are a TAD bit big. I guess the perfect size for me personally would've been a 6.75 hahaha. If I wear these with just tights, they would probably slip off at one point... But nothing a pair of socks on top can't fix. I wore these out with tights and a pair of socks on top and they fit perfectly. They are extremely comfortable and really cute! I received many compliments. I like them a lot! But save the trouble of exchanging them and go up at LEAST half a size. If you have narrow feet a half size up should be sufficient but if you have wider feet, a whole size up might be better.

The boot is very elegant on the foot, and so comfortable, once you get the right size. I usually wear a 8.5 M, but this shoe seems to run a bit small. I ended up with a size 9 M which fits perfectly. The use of the zipper as both a functional and decorative element is quite unique. The wide stacked heel offers secure balance. And, surprisingly, the lilac goes well with several colors, so I can wear them more often that I thought I'd be able to. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to a friend. (Actually, I already have!)

These boots are built with solid footing, yet the cut is very feminine. They feel VERY good to walk in, and when walking in places where sure footing is needed (such as the French Quarter in New Orleans) these really fit the bill. Love them!
