Pro: Boots are exactly as pictured and shipping was fast
Con: Boots are not EMU Australia they are EMU Wool and the difference is huge!
EMU Wool are cow hide boots with wool glued the the inside. Emu Australia is sheepskin with wool still attached. The glued wool is inferior to the sheepskin and there is not as much cushion or support inside. There is no traction to the sole of these unlike the EMU Australia boots. To my knowledge they are the same company just different grades. If I hadn't started with the EMU Australia boot I would have probably not noticed the difference. Unfortunately, since I have its like a cheap knock off.

Warm boots that have a little extra styling to make them stand out from other boots. I like that they open on the side. It makes for tucking jeans in so much easier. I have an "athletic" aka larger calf and these boots fit fine.Buy EMU Australia Women's Hip Button Boot Now
These boots are cute, VERY comfortable and affordable, too! They are lined with Merino wool all the way down to the toe-VERY warm, even with thin socks. I usually wear a size 7, but many reviews said to buy a size smaller, which I did-bought a 6, and they fit just fine....worth every penny!Read Best Reviews of EMU Australia Women's Hip Button Boot Here
i've been saving for a pair of uggs but thought i'd look for a pair that's very similar in quality but at a very reasonable price. when i got these boots, i thanked myself for not buying the way more expensive uggs. these EMUs are just the pair i really wanted... soft, warm, super comfy and very affordable that i couldn't believe they sell these at a very low price. i ordered my true size to make room for thin socks and viola! they were perfect! get these and you'll be more than satisfied.Want EMU Australia Women's Hip Button Boot Discount?
I actually own a brown pair that swaps out the toggles for wodden buttons. Same cut and finishings other than that. This boot was my first (long-put-off) foray into the world of puffy boots. Truly, I still despise wearing them because they really aren't flattering--ON ANYONE. That being said, they are fantastic for Michigan winters, just make sure you spray them with waterproofing spray often and clean them with suede cleaner as soon as you see salt. The cut of the bootis very roomy (I have narrow feet) and it took me awhile to get used to the fact that these type of boots fit more like a generous slipper than a true shoe. For certain, you should order a size down. (I'm an 8.5 and bought the 8.) The heel is quite roomy and flips up a little bit but after a few wears you become used to the fit.
The boots are incredibly warm and while I have super skinny calves so I just slip my leg into the boot, I could see where using the toggles would actually be helpful to those with larger calves.
Rubber sole is a nice addition. That's what takes this boot above the $15 knock-off kind. The sole is non-slip and will LAST.
Highly recommended.
