My wife bought these boots (she's writing the review). She is a Lucchese boot fan, and was on the hunt for cowboy, red and snappy. These boots did it! Exactly like the picture. The fit of Lucchese, particularly the 1883 series, is incredible, especially for my wife who has high arches. Lots of debate about the price, but all in all well worth it. She ended up buying the boot directly from the vendor (Da'Vinci Shoes) at $100 less than through the seller's Amazon storefront but $15 shipping instead of Amazon free shipping ($389 + $15 shipping through Da'Vinci) with a good experience -shipped priority mail the day after ordering, arriving from across the continental US on the Friday after a Sunday order. Initially, her first choice was the burnished red Lucchese N8667, but her size was unavailable. Happier with the boots she got. :-)I wear a 6 1/2 and this size fit perfect! very comfortable and the color red of this boot goes with everything! I have several Lucchese and these are my favorites!!
