I have a hip injury that makes it difficult for me to wear anything with a heel, or a stiff sole. I have been wearing vivobarefoot shoes pretty exclusively lately.

However, they have THIN soles and the material in the shoe is pretty thin as well, so I've been having issues w/ having cold feet if I want to spend any time outside in the winter even w/ an orthotic that I have to use.

I decided to try this style of mukluk after reading a couple reviews on the crepe soled ones that indicated that they could be slick.

I am pleasantly suprised at the amount of ground feel and flexibility in the soles on these. I will probably add a wool felt insole for some additional insulation, but these are the best winter solution I've found to-date!

I like that these boots are handmade by aboriginals from Canada. They are sooooo comfortable and I can't wait to wear them when the weather gets colder. They will replace the UGLY UGGS. The workmanship is beautiful.

Color was not tan but more yellow. Leather quality was good but I expected a sheepskin interior for this price.

These boots are made for walking! I would size down, my size is usually an 8 so I went to the size 7.

They do stretch and I could possibly have even gone to a size 6. I am thrilled with this purchase

and will treasure these boots for years to come.

The color wasn't quite as soft as pictured. It does have a slight mustard coloring, but the pair I received were glaring; there were no feelings of tan, just mustard.

I thought the leather would be softer than it was, and I also thought this would create a fuller effect in the leg section of the boot. It was just too narrow in the shaft for balance, causing the foot section to look like protruding yellow bananas.

Very disappointing.
