I read the one review on this and was nervous to buy online because the last shoes I bought online I had to Goodwill because they didn't fit. But, I'm a stay at home mom with two kids under 2 1/2 and I live in a small town. So the stores have slim pickins and the kids go nuts waiting for me to try on shoes. I basically live in my Teva and Reef flip flops when the weather is warm, and I'm constantly hunting around for shoes that match to get out the door before the kids lose their mind waiting. It's also a pain to lace shoes when sometimes I'm holding a kid to get my shoes on. I tend to shop from Eddie Bauer, Lands End or Belk. Basically I'm a khaki and sweater or jeans and nice shirt kind of person. I spend some days in yoga/athletic pants, occasionally wear a casual dress and sometimes attempt to be trendy in my "nice jeans." I live Virginia's mountains so it gets cold here, but not like up north or in the Rockies. We're known for 80 degree Christmases and cold snaps in September and March. Basically I try to look presentable, while still being modest, comfortable and not look like a hobo.
Basically these are....wait for it....AWESOME. I got the gray, so they match most of what I wear. They take about 5 seconds or less to put on, they're as light as flip flops, they feel better than flip flops on.....BETTER THAN FLIP FLOPS!!! I wear lightweight cotton socks when its warmer, I throw them on with no socks to take the dog out back, and I wear warm socks when its cold. I don't think they're water resistant, but I was thinking of Scotch-gaurding them.
They fit perfectly, and have just a little bit of arch support. I have high arches and narrow feet, so I love them. I don't wear New Balance well because they tend to be too flat and wide, so you may not like the sole of these if you have flat wide feet.
I like them because they make me feel youthful (I'm 32 but really tired and out of date with fashion...stuck in 1995-2005 decade) without feeling like an idiot. I recently got some trendy knee high boots to wear over some straight leg jeans and thought I looked too cool for school. I saw the pictures of myself in them and wanted to immediately run home and take them off. These can be trendy or more mainstream. They're basically like wearing your slippers out.
Traveling will be great in these because I can squish them up in a suitcase or take them off in the car between frequent pit stops with the kids.

I lived all summer in my Teva Tierra sandals. Hated to give them up in this cooler weather. Bought these boots a couple of weeks ago. If you're a half size go up next size. Boots are comfortable and nice. In fact they feel like slippers. There is not much arch suppport and I had to have a pair of Dr. Schools half inserts. The sole could also be a bit thicker as one can feel larger stones if walking on gravel.I would looooove it if Teva could combine the boot top with the Tierra sandal bottom. I'd buy a pair in every colour if they did. When they drop in price I'll buy another pair.

I purchased these for my girlfriend and she loves them-thought I should add a review since there doesn't appear to be one yet. According to her, the shoes are very comfortable when you first put them on at the beginning of the day. If you have been on your feet all day, your weight slowly flattens the padding of the sole making the shoe less like walking on a cloud, but still comfortable enough. They are very very light-weight and easy to slip on, which is a nice change from heavy snow boots. She wears the boots with jeans and leggings, in any weather really. She got them in black (true to size) and has owned them for 2 months. Would recommend to others!Read Best Reviews of Teva women's Mush Atoll Ankle Boot Here
Great boot with great tread. Two things to note, order a size larger then norm and it has a lower heel then most shoes so not for your longer pantsThis is a very nice boot! Light weight, easy on and off and very good traction for Alaska winter footing. The only complaint I have is that the arch is kinda high for me. I usually wear Crocs and like that they don't have too much arch support. These boots are good thoughand are just what I was looking for. They seem warm toobut not hot. Good product! and good price!
