I've never owned a pair of boots ever in my life. Since I am leaving to Africa in a few days, I needed some to keep my legs safe from harm. I've done a lot of research to find a good pair of rain boots and these ones are just so comfortable.

When it comes to size, I'm a 7.5, but the boots come in whole numbers only so I got a 7. Always go down because you want the rain boots to be snug and not wobbly when you walk.

I do NOT recommend wearing these boots while driving. I've tested it, and it's complicated. The boots are tall and will prevent you from driving normally because it jabs straight into your seat. While these boots are gorgeous, they are a deadly weapon! Just kidding :) it makes it a bit difficult to drive, but hey, I'm alive writing this review.

Since these are UGG boots, there is some fur on the inside of the boot. It's silly to be wearing 'boots with the furrr' in Africa, especially since they're just so fancy, but I needed something durable and the fur is just like wearing socks! But I will wear socks.... ;) when I'm wearing these boots.

They are quite heavy, but not as heavy as most rain boots I've tried on. You can't expect to get rain boots that aren't gonna weigh your feet down.

Authenticity! The UGG company has recently provided a card with stickers at the bottom of every shoe that shows that it is authentically made from the UGG company. So if you buy ANY boots that are UGGs, make sure the stickers are placed underneath each shoe! Very important if you're going to be spending so much money on such a pretty thing.

As a first pair of rain boots, I really really love them!

These boots are wonderful!!!! I bought the boots because I track dogs out in wet fields in winter, sometimes in the rain, and sometimes having to go thru water. Have worn these out twice so far(and in some water)and my feet are dry. With some pretty long walks-following 6 tracks!-my normally aching feet were not aching!!! I felt like I could walk for 6 more! I am so happy that I don't have wet, cold, hurting feet any longer!
