As another person stated, they ran a bit small for my liking. Normally I wear a 9, but sometimes get a 9.5 when some shoes run small, which in the case of these boots, 9.5 wasn't an option. When I opened the box, I thought for sure that the wrong size was sent; they looked very small. Not wanting to send them back, I tried them on, with the thin socks I was wearing at the time. Looks are deceiving; I managed to get my foot into them and was getting ready to do the happy dance, when low & behold, they were too snug at the toes (I'm a medium width), and very uncomfortable on the ball of the foot. I can't imagine wearing these for any length of time due to that discomfort. If they were a bit more padded at the ball or simply being able to wear thicker socks, these would be a hit. I might be willing to attempt a size 10, if the lightning deal comes around again.

These are very nicely made for the money and are super cute casual boots that will give you a nice illusion of leg length in skinny jeans. Word to the wise, however. The wedge is just high enough to be treacherous on winter sidewalks. They're not that uncomfortable or hard to walk in on flat dry surfaces, but they roll your ankle a bit on anything slippery.

The boots look like high tops and have a hidden heel.

It will add 3" to your height but it is very easy to walk in.

They look small so your feet don't look big,

and they're surprisingly extremely lightweight.

The two velcro straps may get annoying and in the way at times,

you can order the lace up version instead.

The drawbacks are there's very little to no cushioning so

it feels like walking in wooden shoes. There's also no zipper,

so it takes time lacing and fiddling with the velcro.

It seems true to size, although I must agree with another reviewer

that the balls of your feet will feel tight, if you got wide

feet go up a half size. These are great shoes overall!
