As other reviewers have pointed out, the leather is high quality glove leather. The grey was darker than I expected, but still a lovely color. When I tried on the bootie it was less than perfect for me. The heel cap is nylon, rather than rubber, so I sound like a Clydesdale on a hard floor. I could have fixed that with a visit to the cobbler. Next, I was surprised to find that while the sole of the shoe is thick enough (no chance of feeling the pavement under your feet), there is no cushioning. When I pressed down, there was absolutely no give. Because there was enough room to comfortably place a pad under the ball of my foot, the problem was solvable. Also, I found the ankle area/opening larger than I would have liked. The deal breaker was the fit. The front of the shoe was fine, but my heel rubbed/slipped uncomfortably with every step. I couldn't find an arrangement of pads that relieved the slippage. I noticed that one other reviewer had this problem. It's a new one for me, and I own half a dozen European brands. Regarding sizing, I found it to be accurate. I'm an 8.5 US and found my usual 39 EU (9 US) was the right size.

This is my second pair of Everybody boots, the first being a pair of tall boots. Their leather is soooo soft and has a great sheen. I would have given these a five star rating if there was more cushioning in the sole part of the boot, but that's me. I ordered the dark brown.

Front of boot was a perfect fit, but the heal fit very loosely and caused instability in my walk due to my heal slipping and sloshing around. My size is a medium 37 with a slightly, but not much, narrow heal. I have a pair of Everybody boots that I love and was looking for a replacement pair, but unfortunately, these boots have to be returned. Too bad since the styling is so nice.

These boots are wonderful! They are cute, comfortable and seem to run true to size. I like them so much that I just ordered a pair for my sister. The dark brown is a great color, I am hopeful that the lighter brown will be equally as nice.

As always I can never say enough about Everybody footwear. They are extremely comfortable, great looking and the leather is incredibly soft. The first time you put them on, you can wear them the whole day as they don't need breaking in. Love these boots!
