I had been looking at these boots for about a month both on amazon and another vendor's site. I had previously ordered a 7.5 (I wear 7.5 shoes due to wide feet, but 7 in sandals). The 7.5 were a tad too tight around the toes but size 8s were not available on amazon until recently. The size 8 is perfect! I wear thinner casual socks, and not boot socks. They are extremely light, and have enough heel. No pain from these boots. These are not waterproof, as the tongue is not completely connected to the lace part of the boot. The footbed is overall comfy and my toes have plenty of wiggle room so that if I chose to wear thicker socks there is still room. If you have wide feet, I would suggest going up a half size. Can't wait until next winter to see more boot styles! I am thinking of purchasing J-41 sandals based on how comfortable these boots are.

I love this snow boot. It worked great for my high arches and need for a little lift in the heel. I dont do well (my back doesn't do well) with docs, crocs, or uggs. But I couldn't find if they were waterproof, and I really needed H2O friendly boots, not just cute ones. I'm a very true 9.5, and while they fit with thin stockings, I tried to order up because they seemed to run maybe a 1/2 size small, and I have average feet and calves. This size 10 seemed like the footbed itself had an issue so I returned them. Stuck with my Ariat's. Thanks for the ease in returning Amazon!
