Like other reviewers, I found that these run big: I'm normally a size 8, and the 7 1/2 fits perfectly. Get a half size down unless you plan to wear them with very thick socks.

I'd been looking for the right pair of boots for a very long time. I wanted a simple and classic design without a lot of decorations and hardware, but not so plain that they looked like rain boots. I wanted a heel, but not too high. I wanted quality leather, but didn't want to spend more than $200. And they had to be comfortable enough to wear all day. These fit the bill in every way. I'm very happy with them.

These are exactly what I wax expecting and more! Super soft and great color. Nice fit around the calf, which are "athletic" for a woman. Slightly big around the ankle, but only compared to other black Franco Sarto boots I have. Overall, these are excellent boots and look classy and universal with any outfit!

These boots are awesome! Gorgeous color and the fit is perfect. I have rather muscular calves and sometimes have a problem getting boots to fit, but these are a great fit.

The leather is soft but thick and durable. With regular conditioning and upkeep, these things will last forever!!!!!

They do run a 1/2 size too big so I had to return them and there werent any 7 1/2 at the time (I ordered an 8 thinking it would be ok with socksstill too big). As soon as they are available again, Ill be ordering them.

Got this in Bourbon, which is a nice reddish color on the website. However, the boots are actually brown with a barely noticeable red tint in person. There's no way it can pass for anything but brown in daylight. Returned because of color difference.
