I did not get these on Amazon. I've had the shoes for almost three months and have only worn them twice (partly because it refuses to stop raining), so this review is based on my limited experience. This shoe gets 5 stars for look and initial comfort. My first thought when I saw them: These are so me! I love the bamboo heel and the fact that the sole is recycled cork. The taupe color is great for my wardrobe, and I love the vintage look of these booties.
I wore them around the house first and was very impressed with the look and feel. I have higher than average arches and a narrower heel, but these shoes fit me fine in those areas. Very comfortable. Initially I thought the heel was too wide, but once I was walking around I didn't notice (I wear Dansko clogs a lot, so maybe I'm just used to a roomier heel). I do wish the shaft was either shorter or narrower. It is a little taller than other booties I've worn. No problems with rubbing against my ankle, I just think it would look better.
The big cons for me are the length of the shoe and where the stitching on the inside hits my toes. The second time I wore them out I ended up with five blisters where the stitching rubbed against my skin. I have never had blisters other than on my heels, so this was surprising. I typically wear a size 9, but think I should have returned these for a size 8.5 (the company was all sold out of 8.5). My toes should come closer to the edge of the foot bed. Either this is a design flaw and the foot bed should have been cut back closer to the peep toe, or these run a half size too long. I really can't decide, since they do seem to fit ok overall. I wish I'd tried an 8.5 too.
Again, these are gorgeous shoes, appear to be well made and durable, and very comfortable if not walking more than a block. I hope to solve the blister problem with a peep toe liner (I haven't tried this yet). I recommend trying a half size smaller than you normally wear.

I think these booties are great to look at. They're also reasonanbly comfortable, so I'm pleased with them. I've only worn them once or twice so far.with leggings are a maxi skirt ,these boots rock ,but don't forget a cute pedicure first i do french tips with zebra stripes ,they are to die for...
