Just received these. They are really cute but a better description of them would be that they are slippers with a sole on them. There is no foot support or arch support in them at all. Just a suede boot/slipper with a crepe sole on the bottom. The suede is nice and so is the fur inside them. Just wish there was some foot support. Especially at this price. They are going back sad to say.

If what you want is lots of structure and support, these won't do it. The crepe soles do give some nice traction, but these are more like moccasins in feel. As it turns out, this is exactly what I need, since I have hard to fit feet, and shoes that try to be über-supportive are generally not compatible with my foot shape. I bought these boots in great anticipation. I love Clarks and I have always been a huge fan because of the quality of shoes that they make. However, these boots were flimsy and are not made to be worn outside--especially not in the cold. Additionally, the shearling fur is not 100% shearling--it is a mix with man-made materials. There is no way that the boots can keep your feet warm in cold weather--even if it is dry without snow. The 8's were too small, but I exchanged them for the 8.5 and they fit perfectly. The exchange was no problem and went smoothly. I love, love, love, these boots. I wear them everywhere in the winter.
