I got these boots in black. They are very soft and comfortable, with a nice flexible rubber sole. They fit true to size. You can even unfold the top part so they reach your knee. These boots are a great value and well worth it!

I have two pair, the ironstone and the dark brown. They fit great, at a size 11, are perfectly flat and the suede is very nice, like velvet. I know there are different grades of suede and this is definitely one of the higher ones.

As far as gorgeousness, my field of shoes is limited to size 11's on sale and flat (I'm 6' and don't have super model fantasy's so consider the source) but still, they are nice. I paid under forty for one pair and around sixty five for the other and for the quality, that's excellent.

The Chinese Laundry boots I bought for about the same price are of a much lower quality and look about the same, style wise.

I get lots of complements on these. They really seem like nothing special to me, but guys seem to like them! They don't have much cushion and no arch support, so I added my own via drugstore orthotics. Now I can walk for miles with glee! One bonus is that you can wear them turned down or turned up.

The material is nice, but the sole is very thin. I returned it because for the price, I felt the sole would have been more substantial anspd supportive.
