I had shopped locally for a pair of casual black ankle boots. Every pair I tried on was uncomfortable and I have pretty normal feetnot wide, not narrow, etc. These are very comfortable. I took a chance and first time on wore them from 9:00AM to 11:00PM with no complaints. They are lightly padded inside with good arch support, not hot. I'm very pleased with this purchase and felt the quality was very nice for the price.
