I bought the short Fernie boots in Dove and love them. I have a wide foot and high instep and these boots are easy to pull on and take off. So I thought I should buy the tall Fernie in Turkish Coffee great colour, same easy on/off. Too bad there wasn't 1/2 sizes found next size too big. I did find heel pad inserts were helpful because it does feel like your heel is lower and if you're going to go for a long walk pads will give better support.

I saw these boots in a store for $75.00 more then what I paid on Amazon. They are beautiful and I wear them all the time. They're made by Sorel so the quality is excellent. I might buy another pair in a different color, i love them that much.

I have giant calfs, and by giant, I mean I even struggle with stuff that says "wide calf" I was so excited to find a pair of boots that have such flexibility in the back, and are so well built. I wore them all day on the first day and had no problems, my feet stayed warm and dry in the snow. I think they run just a tad bigI wear a size ten and they were a little loose, but after putting on a thicker pair of socks they were fine.

I don't like those boots for several reasons. One, it's too tight on the calf and because there is no side zipper, it's difficult to get your foot in and uncomfortable to wear. Two, it's different than picture, the brown is actually darker than it appears to be. Three, very (VERY) rough finishing, cheap finishing I would say, ugly.

I was going to return this item but I'm an international buyer and post cost will be more than the price of the boot, very disappointed.

LUV! LUV! LUV! these boots. Very comfortable and you can walk for miles in them . I usually wear a Sorrel size 8 but others posted they were small fitting so I ordered the size 9 and they are perfect. The only little negative thing I can think of is I wish they came in a dark colour (black or navy) as the dirt is hard to get off the butter colour.
